Reliable 2-in-1 Smoke & CO Protection
The SMCO100V-AC Interconnected Hardwire Smoke and CO Alarm with Battery Backup and Voice Alerts is a premium choice for protection against both threats. Easily add protection throughout your home or replace existing hardwire alarms using the hardwire quick connect plug - no rewiring needed. The alarm is also equipped with a backup battery to provide continuous protection in the event of a power outage.
Voice & Locations Alerts
If smoke or carbon monoxide is detected, the detector will sound and a friendly voice will tell you the type and location of danger in your home to help you safely escape. Easy to program and operate, the combination fire and CO alarm allows you to choose between 11 pre-programmed home locations.
Early Warning Interconnect
Install as a standalone combination alarm or interconnect multiple detectors together to create an alarm system throughout your home. When one hardwire interconnected alarm sounds, all connected detectors will sound to help provide an early warning. Integrate with up to 12 other First Alert or BRK detectors and 6 other compatible devices. Reference user's manual for compatible alarms. If the alarm system sounds, the latching alarm indicator will visually identify the unit that initiated the alarm.
Convenient Safety Features
Ensure the Interconnected Hardwire Smoke and CO Alarm with Battery Backup and Voice Alerts is working properly using the single test/silence button located on the front of the alarm. The detector batteries should be replaced regularly and alarms themselves should be replaced at least every 10 years. The low battery and end-of-life warnings will help notify you when it’s time to replace the combination detector. See user's manual for information on how and when to test and replace alarms. Help stop unwanted removal of the backup battery or detector using the optional locking features.
